Throughout the year there's always something on in Moffat and at the Black Bull, from Classic Car Rallies, fell runs, gala week, football or rugby tournaments, folk weekends, food and drink festivals - we are a lively hub of activity in the town.

Every Thursday evening you can enjoy (and take part in) a folk evening. Local folk musicians start up a song on guitar, fiddle, banjo, bodrum, or just voice - pending the song or the mood of the evening. Enjoy one of our real ales or our vast array of malt whiskeys whilst soaking up the intimite atmosphere.

In our other bar, the Railway Bar, there could be live sport on plasma screens, a spot of karaoke, playing pool, darts, dominoes - or just having a chat over a tipple.
